One Summer Tour

Philippine International Hot Air Balloon Festival, Nayong Pilipino & Paradise Ranch Tour

April 12, 2014.

The Philippine Hotair Balloon Festival was held at Lubao, Pampanga. Me and my friend Cris did not miss the chance to witness this event for the second time around. It was quarter to five in the morning when we arrive at the venue. Balloon flights start at six in the morning. Aside from the balloon flying there were other attractions like the food bazaar, souvenir shops, paragliding, mascots and performances.

The spectacular view and balloon designs from regular shapes to big extra ordinary designs that will really caught your eye.

Who wants to get drunk, I think its enough for us to get wasted. :P

Unexpected thing that happen in the hot air fest is a marriage proposal. My eyes were set on the ice cream design since I love ice cream. I am waiting for it to took off but its taking some time. And when the balloon finally rise above from the ground it bring down a banner saying "Will you Marry Me" all of the people were amazed and for sure a lot of girls envy that (not gonna lie I'm one of them lol). Aside form the banners they shower flower petals to the couple. The couple were just below the balloon, with the perfect timing and all. I think the guy got his "Yes". Really sweet. Wish the best luck for that couple. <3

The Proposal

People gather around to witness the marriage proposal of a guy to his girlfriend.

After the Hotair Fest we went to Nayong Pilipino. This place exhibits the different landmarks and beautiful places in the Philippines, including historical places. We also got a chance to watch the cultural show. They play the different cultural dance in the Philippines.

Last stop is the Paradise Ranch, we had our lunch here. Under the freaking heat of the sun we still went out and stroll around. You can really feel the nature and the sun. I think we get tanned (LOL). This place was the shooting locations for some dramas like "Marimar" and "Honesto".

It is indeed a very happy weekend to spend with a good friend. Another unforgettable getaway. Tiring but worth it.
