[REVIEW] Jin Joo Korean Grill

What attracts me to this Korean restaurant is their Cheese Dung Galbi. Most of the Korean drama's I've watched has this food where they dip chicken or meat in cheese. So when I found out that this restaurant is serving the food I am craving for this is already listed in my to go to list.

Location: ★★★★★ Located at the 5/F of SM Aura Premier, C5 Road corner 26th Street, Bonifacio Global City. We went there early to avoid traffic on a weekend. Their open from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. (Sunday to Thursday), and 10 a.m. to 11 p.m. (Friday to Saturday)

Facilities: ★★★★★ The place is clean and nice, love the wooden tables. I like the pastel color of chairs, the displayed bottle of suju's and the drawing in the wall. I find the utensils cool and clean. Their plates and glasses is ceramic though some have dents but it is the imperfection that makes it look so authentic and gives a more Korean vibe.

Staff/Service: ★★★★★The staff are very accommodating and attentive. Even though they forgot to gave us the menu at first, me and my friends find it funny. If this is your first time trying out Korean cuisine you'll not going to have a hard time figuring out what goes with this and that or grilling as the staff will gladly assist you or grill for you. But this is not our first time so we grill our own samgyeopsal. But for the other menus they help us cook/heat or prepare it.

Food: ★★★★★ Now let's talk about the food. I love the Cheese Dung Galbi. This is good for two or more as the serving is a lot. We are five but we get to taste it all. Loved how the mozzarella cheese go with the baby-back ribs. The meat is so so tender and it is already good on its own but with the added cheese, mouthwatering. The rice can be mixed with the side dishes like how you do in a bibimbap. What we did is just mixed the cheese, egg and corn. You can really play with your food in here and nothing can ever go wrong. The Cheese Dung Galbi for me is divine.

Next is the Jin Joo's 8 flavor samgyeopsal. This is not your ordinary pork belly as they serve 8 different flavors which will suit everyone taste bud. The 8 flavors are:Herb, Honey garlic, Smoky bbq, Peanut, Curry, Soybean, Wine and the traditional Red pepper.

Another meal that we tried is Dak Bokkeumtang. Korean hotpots are popular too. This is a must try as they serve it really boiling hot. It is up to you how spicy your hotpot will be. Our hotpot is a combination of chicken and vegetables. Love this stew as it goes well with rice.

Price: ★★★★★ Jin Joo meals is really good though it is a bit pricey. We don't mind spending a little bit with food. If you'll eat with friends you can divide it among you so you'll spend less. They have meals which is good for one person and won't hurt much your pocket. Every penny spent is worth it.

Verdict: ★★★★★ Overall we love the food and went home with a full and happy stomach. A totally pig out day. We love grilled meat and Korean cuisine. Like the cheese dung galbi and highly recommended to anyone. Try their hotpots as well. Unlike other korean grill resto you won't go home smelling like grilled meat which is a plus. Eating becomes more enjoyable when you eat with family or friends.
