I finally found the one!

Yes, finally after the long search I finally found the one.
The one that my skin loves. I am so thankful that I stumble upon this great product. Better than any make up that I have tried and tested. You'll definitely put aside anything your using when you discover this brand.


Meet my new make up products from ELLANA.

Ellana is a local brand that uses European and Japanese sourced ingredients. The word Ellana means "light" or "bright" in Greek origin.This brand specially caters to Southeast Asian skin.

How did I found out about this? Actually it was by accident. It was a weekend afternoon, me and my friend decided to buy facial mask but ended up scanning the make up brands. It was the sales lady who approached us to try their products. I really do not know the brand. Never heard of it at all, but my friend is quite familiar to it. She somehow knows the product and said that it really has good reviews in SNS. It was my friend who tried their products and at the back of my mind I was like OK, lets give it a try. When she tried the concealer/foundation I thought it was fine. But when I tried their product I'm in awe. Did not expect something like it will do that much to my skin. By the way we tried different products. My face condition that time is tired and shiny (meaning my face is oily even though we just touch up and re-apply make up) but when the sales lady applied this product on my face it instantly removes all the oiliness and made my face looks fresh with just one product. That really picked my interest. So I ended up buying some of their products to see if my skin will love or hate it. After a week of trial I went back to the store and bought a lot more from this brand.

Below are the items that I currently use and my review about these items:

Ellana Blur Primer [Refill] 
This primer is a must have it sets my make up well. Though their foundation is fine even without it. It is up to you if you want to use primer or not but I opt to use this because it helps the make up last longer. It does have a powdery feel after and it is non sticky. I only use a small amount of this and it covers the whole face. It comes in a very convenient packaging and very travel friendly. I prefer this rather than in bottles.

Loose Multipurpose Pigments
I bought three shades of their multipurpose pigments. The Shine which is a color of yellow. This can be use as a highlighter too. Brilliance is a shade of brown and Loyalty is a shade of rose gold. When using this just use a small amount. It really is pigmented. Love it when I use it as eyeshadows.

Pressed Mineral Foundation
This pressed foundation comes very handy when you dont have much time to use the loose one. Has the same coverage as the loose powder. 

Loose Mineral Concealer and Foundation + Sheer Velvet HD Powder 
I bought the concealer/foundation. It is two products in the price of one and save's up space in my bag. I had the Radiance color which suits my skin tone.  What I love about this product is that it really last long. This product does not make my skin looks dark after an hour or so unlike other makeup brands that I have tried. It keeps my face looking fresh. The sheer velvet hd powder sets my make up and helps control oil. It is translucent in color and I only use this if I notice that my face is starting to look a little too shiny. But when I am using these two product I do not need to touch up or re-apply make up. It stays longer than I have expected. I apply these before going to work and I never re-applied makeup during my shift till I get home. Though at some point I use my brush to even out the powder when I see that it starts to form in some areas in my face. I have big pores it did not cover those but I still give it an A. For my pores I leave it to my skin care products. You have to buy the jar seperately. But you only need one or two so the next time you buy your just buying the loose powders.

Edible Sugar Lip Scrub 
This primes your lips and makes it ready to take on any lipstick formula. You can use it to remove lipstick too. I use this twice a week and really has a good smell. Taste sweet too. I have the watermelon mint. 

Makeup Brush Cleaner + Dual Head Retractable Stay Gorgeous Powder Brush + Kallista Rounded Flat Powder Brush (103) and Mini Smudge Brush (108) Duo
In order to apply the makeup properly I bought makeup brushes and cleaner. I am not yet familiar with different brushes and it's uses but I think that the makeup application is much easier and better with the help of these tools. Of course we do not have clean hands everytime. Brushes do get dirt too that is why I clean my brushes as often as possible. This brushes are made of synthetic hair. It is gentle to the skin and does not irritate my skin.

Lip in Luxe Matte Liquid Lipstick

I have two colors with me. Love is True which is close to dark red. Love is Bliss which is on the pink or nude color. They have a total of 11 shades if I am not mistaken. I really love to buy them all but this two stands out more. Love the names of the lipstick. Their products really last longer. This does not fade easily after eating.

In conclusion, the moment I noticed and proven that their products delivers what it claims to be I fell in love and bought them. Their product is really good for my skin. It really is for Southeast Asian skin. If I would reccommend this to my friends? Yes, totally. What I love more about Ellana is that it has skin care as well. So it does not only make you look good. It also continues to treat your skin well with its natural ingredients. It is skin care and make up in one. 

I use Ellana products in this look and I like how natural it looks for my skin not too heavy. This is after the commute going to the mall at 2pm in the afternoon. Can you imagine how hot the weather is in the middle of the day. Did not touch up but the sun did not melt my makeup. Remove the filter in my phone to get the actual look. Amazing indeed.

Used Loyalty for the eyeshadow, Love is Bliss for the lips and the primer, concealer/foundation and sheer velvet hd powder for the face.
