[Review] El Cocinero and Bodhi Library & Cafe

We want to escape the scorching heat so we decided to go to Tagaytay. We all know that Tagaytay has a better weather but not this time as summer hit this neighborhood too.

We went to La Bella. It is a boutique hotel located in Radar. To get here you just have to ride a bus going to Alfonso or Nasugbu. From Robinson Dasma our fare going to Radar cost only Php45. Just tell the conductor to drop you off Radar. You'll know that you arrived at the right place if you see Atonio's Cabana that will serve as your landmark. From there, ride a tricycle going to La Bella, this cost us Php30.

La Bella gives the feels like you'd been transported to Santorini in Greece with the white walls and blue accent.

What you can find inside La Bella:

El Cocinero is a Spanish themed restaurant located inside La Bella in Tagaytay. The price range of their menu starts from Php300 and up. There are pasta, pizza and paella. We decided to have our lunch here and ordered Paella that is good for three persons which cost us Php960 and a pitcher of cucumber which cost Php220. The food is nice and delicious.

Bodhi Cafe and Library is also located inside La Bella. You'll find a shop on the first floor and upstairs is the cafe and a library. Their waffles cost only Php60 for toppings of your choice just add Php25 and the drinks is worth Php50 (coffee, hot choco and tea). The price range is very affordable.

Entrance fee is free even though you do not book a room or staying in the hotel. Just tell the guards you are going to El Cocinero. This place is perfect for your next IG post.

La Bella is perfect for your next staycation destination. We will definitely go back here and we might be staying here for a night next time.
