I was able to do a one day solo trip in Pattaya through Trazy. It was a bright sunny day in Pattaya and I was waiting for my ride. They pick me up in my hotel at the exact time they told me. It was a joined tour so we have to pick up other guest as well. It took as an hour to arrive in Ban Phe pier in Rayong.

From Ban Phe pier we ride a catarman in order for us to explore the surrounding islands of Koh Samet. The catarman is spacious so I stayed in the upper deck to get a beautiful view.

First stop is the Koh Samet Island. We did not go to the shore and just stayed in the catarman in a distance. This is where the snorkeling begin. I like to go to beaches and island tours but I am afraid of the water. It is ironic how I wanted to be close to the sea but afraid to go fully in it. Definitely don't know how to swim but guilty of loving the beach. Anyway, so the other guests started to descend to the water as I watched them swum away to the snorkeling area. I was fine at the upper deck then I suddenly felt the need to be in the water. I saw other guests with life vest who were being pulled by some crew assisting them to get to the snorkeling area. There's also this one crew who encourage me to go snorkeling he was really nice. So when I already find the courage to go down the water that's the moment I truly enjoyed it. I was assisted by the crew from my life jacket, on how to properly breath with the snorkeling gadget, and he was able to guide me when we were in the water. I was holding another life jacket as a support which he used to pull me to the best part of the sea. The view under the sea is amazing like it is another world down there. Saw a lot of big pretty and colorful corals and sea creatures. Though there isn't much fish in the area but to be able to see it with my very own eyes is pretty amazing. I am very thankful to the person who assisted me. Their staff is really nice and approachable. I wasn't able to document my snorkeling experience cause I only got my phone. We stayed there for an hour and then headed for the next island.

Like the first island we did not go down the shore. We stayed there for an hour as well to fo snorkeling. This time I chose not to go down the water. After snorkeling we had lunch in the boat. The crew prepared some local Thai cuisines for us. There is fried chicken, pad thai, fruits and soup. I love how sweet the fruits are. Also I like how the pad thai has some kick of spicy taste.

Kudee island is the last stop for the day. This is where a speedboat took us to the shore and we just enjoyed the sun and the shore. We stayed there for some time though we did not stay that long. Other guest just took photos and explore the island. Same goes with me. The island is just small so it is easy to navigate.

We head back to Ban Phe pier where our ride is waiting for us to dop us off in our respective hotels. It is indeed a fun and exciting day for me in Pattaya.

Overall this tour is amazing. I love how the staff is approachable, friendly and kind. They will really attend to your needs. If you are a non swimmer like me do not worry to go on this tour their friendly staff and crew will guide you and you'll feel safe all throughout. I am also impressed that there is a dedicated catarman for us. There are also free towels and water on board. This tour is also inclusive of lunch so it is really worth it. There are staff who can speak English and Mandarin so communication is not a problem. Koh Samet Island Hopping Tour has it's own charm, the islands is not too crowded and is good for relaxation and other water activities.
