Where to Stay in Korea

It is up to you on where you want to stay in Korea. Others consider locations that is near the city attractions and action to avoid the everyday commute to the center of the city. Keep in mind that each neighborhood has its own feel; some neighborhoods are great to experience hanok homestays, others are filled with bars and singing rooms and are ideal to experience the nightlife, and there are neighborhoods that revolve around shopping be it outdoor markets or malls. Seoul neighborhood cater to a younger demographic with plenty of budget-friendly hostels and guesthouses to choose from, while others are better suited to a traveler who is after luxury. The good news is, whatever your budget or travel style is, Seoul has something to offer.

710 Guesthouse Yellow

Address: 9-4 Gunam-ro 21beon-gil, U-dong, Haeundae, Busan, South Korea

If you are planning to visit Busan, 710 Guesthouse Yellow is a nice place to stay. You'll never miss the vibrant color of this guesthouse. It is located near Haeundae beach, Sea Life Busan Aquarium, and The Bay 101.

They have comfortable common areas where you can relax. All rooms are private with available AC, floor heating system, LED TV, free WIFI and bathrooms. The place is clean with fancy wall designs inside the building. You also do not have to worry about staying late outside as they do not have curfew hours (password lock door). If ever you will be checking in later than 10pm just notify them early. The "oppa" who attended to us is nice and helpful. He helped us with our very big and heavy luggage. Two thumbs up for that!! They speak English so do not worry if you only bring a few Korean phrases with you.

SP@Itaewon Guesthouse

Yongsan-gu Itaewon-dong 112-11, Seoul, Korea

We stayed here March 24-27, our last days in Korea. This is one of the cheapest guesthouse we find in Seoul. We spent 5,147 Php for a twin room. The room is not spacious but if you are looking for a place to just sleep in at night this is one of the best deals so far. There is a common bathroom in each floor.

Novotel Ambassador Seoul Yongsan - Seoul Dragon City Hotel

We truly had a great time staying in this hotel. Aside from its luxurious amenities and facilities it gives us the comfort that we deserve after a tiring day out exploring the city. We stayed in a Deluxe Suite Room courtesy of COSRX for three days and two nights during our stay in Seoul. Novotel is located in Yongsan and it is known as the Electronic district in Korea. So if you are a techy and gadget person this is your haven.

The view from our room is amazing. We can see the IPark Mall and a football field nearby.

The interior and design of the place is amazing. They have a very spacious lobby and a bar. The staff are very accommodating.

Once we get in our room we do not want to go out, it is a perfect place for stay-cation but since we are not here for stay-cation we enjoy every corners of it at night. I love the bed and the bathtub personally. We have two big flat screens one in the living room and the bedroom. Luxury at its finest. If you do not mind spending much for comfort I recommend you book your next stay here while in Korea.

Breakfast buffet is our favorite part of the day as we get to indulge in a very delicious choices of food. So we head out with a full stomach and recharged body after meal.

Thank you COSRX for sponsoring our stay here. We are truly grateful. 감사합니다.
