[Review] A - Won Korean Restaurant

Back in search for a new korean resto in South we found A-Won Korean restaurant.

Location: ★★★★★  It is located at 2/ F Commercenter, Commerce Avenue, Filinvest Alabang, Muntinlupa. It is near Acacia Hotel. 

Facilities: ★★★★★ The restuarant has a decent space. Not too small or big. It is clean and tidy. Though we did not feel the air conditioning that much probably because of the grilling. It has a minimalistic vibe with its wooden chairs and tables. The restaurant has a simple look.

Staff/Service: ★★★★★ We were greeted the moment we enter the restaurant. They are accommodating and attentive. Since we had samgyeopsal we had someone grilled it for us. We know how to grill we were just lazy that time and too hungry we did not offer to grill it on our own. 

Food: ★★★★★ We had two sets of samgyeopsal one that is plain and the other one is spicy. What is not to love about korean bbq right? We are so familiar with the taste so we totally love it. We also had Galbi-Tang, it is a beef soup with noodles on it. The taste is quite bland but it is perfect to balance out the taste if you had too much spicy food. The beef is tender and cooked well. I love the Galbi Tang. The lettuce are fresh and they had another leaf aside from the lettuce which I am not familiar with. My friend tried it and said that it really has a leafy taste so I skip that one. This is the first korean restaurant that I visited that serves finger chili (siling haba). I am not shocked to see the finger chili cause most Koreans eat that alone like appetizers. But we did not dare to eat that. There are only few side dishes that I like the cucmber, kimchi, and sweet potato. We had okra but I dont eat that. We enjoyed the food.

Price: ★★★★★ Their menu is affordable. The set menus which is good for groups offers such a great deal. The samgyeopsal only cost 300php which is not bad. Also the Galbi Tang is only around that range. So I think this is a good deal. 

Verdict: ★★★★★ Overall we went home with a full stomach. It is a great place in South to satisfy your Korean food cravings. Perfect for families and group of friends.
